Arlene graduated with a 1st class BA Hons in Graphic Design at Grays School of Art in her home city of Aberdeen,
Scotland. She then gained an MA in Graphic Design, passing with distinction at the Birmingham Institute of Art and
Design. She lectured on various courses there before turning to full-time illustration in the early 90s. Since then Arleneā€™s
work has constantly evolved and she has worked for many national and international clients in the fields of advertising,
design, editorial and publishing. Her work has also been selected for The Association of Illustrators Images as well as
The Cream and Roses Creative Awards.
